质子交换膜燃料电池是一种清洁、高效的绿色环保电源,其核心部件膜电极由阳极催化剂、阴极催化剂和质子交换膜组成。该类电池主要特点是:能量转换率高,发电过程为常温化学能直接转化为电能;无污染,排放物为水和二氧化碳;发电单元模块化,可靠性高,组装和维修都很方便。本研究平台主要是开展适用于质子膜燃料电池器件的纳米多孔结构电极催化剂研究,重点集中在氢氧(空)、甲醇、甲酸燃料电池电极催化剂以及燃料电池器件组装和测试技术开发。
Proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) are a type of clean, efficient green power supply, consisting of anode, cathode, and proton exchange membrane. The main features include: high energy conversion efficiency due to the direct conversion of chemical energy into electrical energy; non pollution with the main emissions of water and carbon dioxide; high reliability, easy assembly and maintenance owing to modular generating units. Our central interest is to develop nanoporous electrocatalysts suitable for PEMFCs, focusing on hydrogen, methanol, formic acid fuel cell electrocatalysts and device assembly techniques.
