Dr. Zhang is a Professor at Tianjin University of Technology. He is the recipient of National Natural Science Foundation of China for Excellent Young Scholars, National Natural Science Foundation of Tianjin for Distinguished Young Scholars, and the Distinguished Professor of Tianjin.
He received the PhD degree in inorganic chemistry from Northeast Normal University in 2010. He was an iCHEM fellow at Xiamen University, and a visiting scholar at University of Chicago during 2013-2015. He has published over 150 peer-reviewed papers, such as Nat. Synth., PANS, Natl. Sci. Rev., CCS Chem, J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem., Nat. Commun. and Adv. Mater. with over 10000 times citations, in which 12 papers are listed as highly cited papers by ESI. He was awarded the first prize of Natural Science of the Ministry of Education (7/7), the first prize of Natural Science of the Tianjin (2/5) and the first prize of Jilin Province Natural Science Academic Achievement (2/6). He served as a member of the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Crystallographic Society and Chinese Society for Imaging Science and Technology, the editorial board and young star editor of Chin. Chem. Lett.、Current Catal., Nano Res、Smartmat、Polyoxometalate and Chin. Appl. Chem.
Professors/Associate ProfessorsProf. Dr. Wen-Xiong Shi
Dr. Wen-Xiong Shi graduated from Tianjin University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in Polymer Materials and Engineering. In 2007, he graduated from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Tianjin University, and obtained a master's degree in materials science. He received his Ph.D. degree (2010) from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Then he worked as Senior Research Fellow at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and worked as a professor in Tiangong University. Now, he is a professor at Tianjin University of Technology. His current research interest is the syntheses, simulation, and photoelectric catalysis of sub-nano polyoxometalate-based materials and porous materials based on Metal-Organic Framework (MOF), and so on. He has published a total of over 50 research papers including Adv. Mater., JACS, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.

Song Guo
Dr. Song Guo received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Qufu Normal University and Dalian University of Technology, respectively. In 2016, he joined Institute for New Energy Materials and Low Carbon Technologies of Tianjin University of Technology. His research interest focuses on the development of molecular-based photosensitizers for homo-/hetero-geneous catalysis. He has published a total of over 40 research papers including PNAS, Nat. Commun., Nat. Sci. Rev., JACS, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hua-Qing Yin
Dr. Hua-Qing Yin received her B.S. degree from Shandong Normal University. She subsequently obtained her Ph.D. degree from College of Chemistry, Nankai University under the supervision of Prof. Xue-Bo Yin. From 2018 to 2020, she studied in Jing Li group as an exchange student at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. In 2020, she joined Prof. Zhi-Ming Zhang's group as an associate professor at Tianjin University of Technology. Her research interests focus on: (1) The fabrication of Metal-Organic Framework-based photocatalytic materials that can be applicable in CO2 photoreduction and asymmetrical photocatalysis. (2) The construction of polyoxometalate composites and their C-H/C-C catalytic application.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cheng Hu
Cheng Hu received his B.S and Ph.D. degrees in the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Ch ina University of Geosciences (Beijing). In 2024, he joined Institute for New Energy Materials and Low Carbon Technologies of Tianjin University of Technology. His current research focuses on the design and synthesis of functionalized single cluster and single atom catalysts for mechanical and photochemical catalytic conversion.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ping Wang
Dr. Ping Wang received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Liao Cheng University and Tianjin University of Technology, respectively (2013-2022). Then he worked as Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Technology (2022-2024). Now he joined Institute for New Energy Materials and Low Carbon Technologies of Tianjin University of Technology. His research interest focuses on the synthesis and photocatalytic research of highly efficient photosensitizer@cluster/MOL assemblies. He has published several research papers including Nat. Commun., Nat. Sci. Rev., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., JACS Au.

Ming-Yang Cui
Ming-Yang Cui was born in 1999 in HeNan province, P. R. China. She received her B.S. degree (2016) from School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Anyang Teachers College. She subsequently obtained her M.S. degree (2023) from Tianjin University of Technology. In 2023, she joined Prof. Zhi-Ming Zhang's group at Institute for New Energy Materials and Low Carbon Technologies, Tianjin University of Technology.
